The LC2K1610Y7 is a TeSys K reversing contactor from Schneider Electric — a 3-pole unit rated for AC-3 duty at 16 A up to 440 V, with a 660-690 V AC 50/60 Hz coil and one normally-open auxiliary contact. It ships preassembled with the reversing power busbar, so you don't need to piece together the mechanical interlock and bus wiring yourself. For AC-4 duty (plugging, inching), derate accordingly.
The V1 flame-retardance rating per UL 94 means the housing won't propagate a flame if a fault arc hits it.
The 660-690 V AC coil voltage is specific — this isn't a dual-tap 480/600 V coil. If your control transformer puts out 480 V, this contactor won't pull in reliably. Verify your control voltage matches that 660-690 V band before you commit the BOM line. The preassembled reversing busbar saves panel-build time and reduces wiring errors, but it also locks the pole configuration — you can't rewire it for delta-star or other non-reversing schemes without replacing the busbar assembly.
