The LC8K12017F7 is a TeSys K reversing contactor from Schneider Electric — a 3-pole, 3 NO power pole contactor preassembled with a reversing power busbar, so it swaps motor rotation direction without an external mechanical interlock. Rated 12 A in AC-3 duty at ≤440 V, it handles motor switching up to that current; the 110 V AC coil pulls in reliably across the rated operating range. IP20 finger protection (VDE 0106) means it's intended for enclosure mounting, not exposed panel surfaces.
This reversing contactor is sized for control panels — 90 mm wide, 58 mm high, 57 mm deep — and mounts on a DIN rail. The preassembled reversing busbar saves wiring time and reduces the chance of cross-connection between forward and reverse paths. Rated for operation at altitudes up to 2000 m without derating, and stored between -50 and 80 °C.
Utilisation categories cover AC-1 (resistive), AC-3 (motor starting/running), and AC-4 (inching/plugging). Flame retardance meets UL 94 V1 and NF F 16-101/102. Mechanical robustness: the contactor withstands 10–15 Gn shocks (closed) and 4 Gn vibration (closed) per IEC 60068-2-27 and -2-6. Protective treatment conforms to IEC 60068 and DIN 50016 for tropical environments.
