Its coil pulls in on 48 V DC, and the contactor is rated for AC-3 duty at 12 A up to 440 V, which means it directly switches a reversing motor load — say a conveyor drive or a pump — up to that current without external interlocking relays. The same contactor also carries AC-1 and AC-4 utilisation categories, covering resistive loads and plugging/inching respectively, so it is not limited to standard start-run cycles. Ambient operating range is -25 to 50 °C, and it derates above 2000 m altitude — fine for most plant-floor applications provided the panel stays within those limits.
Integration notes
The contactor measures 90 mm wide by 58 mm high by 57 mm deep — a compact footprint that fits standard DIN-rail or panel-mount layouts typical of TeSys K installations. The preassembled reversing busbar saves wiring time and reduces the chance of phase-reversal errors during commissioning. Flame retardance meets V1 per UL 94, so it satisfies the flammability requirements for most industrial control panels.
