Current range and trip class selection
For motor circuits pulling 160 to 630 A, the LR9G630 electronic overload relay from Schneider's TeSys Giga line offers independent trip class selection — Class 5E for fast protection or Class 30E for high-inertia loads. Trip curves are unaffected by ambient temperature because sensing is electronic, not bimetallic.
Electronic sensing with phase loss detection
Electronic overload release on the LR9G630 produces repeatable trip times and is inherently immune to heater aging — a real advantage on high-cycle applications. Phase loss sensitivity is built in; it will trip within seconds if one phase drops, protecting the motor from single-phasing damage.
Reset options and enclosure rating
Choose automatic or manual reset depending on process restart needs — no additional wiring for mode change, just a switch on the front. IP20 protected housing allows use inside standard panels; screw terminals are provided for 2 aux contacts (N.O./N.C.).
The LR9G630 mounts directly to the contactor, saving panel space and eliminating interwiring. Overall dimensions: 8.31 in width, 5.83 in height, 7.32 in depth.
