Overview
The LV432089 is a Schneider MicroLogic 5.3 A-Z electronic trip unit for the ComPact NSX 630 frame, rated 630 A across 3 poles at 690 V AC. It provides LSI protection (long-time, short-time, instantaneous) plus integrated energy metering and power quality monitoring, displayed on an LCD screen. The trip unit carries UL 508 and EN/IEC 60947-2 certifications, with marine, CCC, and EAC approvals. Zone selective interlocking (ZSI) is built in for coordinated tripping in multi-tier distribution.
The long-time pickup Ir is field-adjustable from 250 to 630 A, with a delay Tr adjustable 15 to 400 s at 1.5 x Ir. Short-time pickup Isd offers 9 settings, with delay Tsd adjustable 0 to 0.4 s and I²t on/off. This range suits feeder and main breaker applications where coordination with downstream devices is required. Thermal memory retains 20 minutes of thermal history before and after tripping, improving coordination on repeated overloads.
