Overview

The LV438245 is a Schneider ComPact NSX250 DC thermal-magnetic trip unit rated 250 A at 750 V DC, with LI protection (thermal overload and magnetic short-circuit) and an adjustable short-time pickup Isd. It is a 3-pole unit for DC distribution, fixed long-time and short-time delays, and carries certifications including ASTA, KEMA, LCIE, and ASEFA.

Schneider discontinued the LV438245 on 2023-06-15; it is no longer in active production and must be sourced through surplus or broker channels.

Compared to the LV438246, the LV438245 switches 250 A versus 200 A, both at 750 V DC with 3 poles and the same TM-D trip unit; choose the LV438245 when the load requires the higher 250 A rating.
