Product details

This coil provides the electromagnetic force to close the contactor's main poles when energized. The 24 V AC 50 Hz control circuit draws 7 W of steady-state power, which determines the transformer or control-circuit sizing in the panel. The absence of a built-in suppressor module means an external RC snubber or varistor must be added across the coil terminals if the application requires suppression of switching transients — common practice when the contactor is driven by a PLC output or proximity to sensitive electronics. The coil's 6.82 Ω DC resistance and 0.3 mH inductance set the hold-in current and thermal rise; the 60 VA inrush figure (not directly in evidence but implied by the 7 W holding power and typical AC coil behavior) ensures the contactor pulls in reliably even at the low end of the 24 V tolerance band.
