Overview
The LX1D8B5 is a Schneider TeSys Deca contactor coil, order code LX1D8B5, designed for 24 V AC 50 Hz control circuits and rated for use with a 115 A contactor such as the LC1D115. It delivers 300 W of power and is packaged as a PCE unit, with an inductance of 0.09 mH and a resistance of 1.24 ohm.
This coil is built without a built-in suppressor module, so external suppression is required if the control circuit needs transient protection. Heat dissipation runs 3 to 8 W at 50 Hz, and the coil draws 22 W of power consumption. Rated for a maximum operating rate of 2400 cycles per hour at 140 °F (60 °C), the LX1D8B5 supports 8 million mechanical cycles under normal conditions.
Applications
As a replacement coil for the TeSys Deca Advanced series, the LX1D8B5 is used in motor starters, lighting contactors, and power switching panels where the contactor body (e.g., LC1D115) is already installed and a 24 V AC 50 Hz coil voltage is required.
