Overview
This coil is designed for use with the TeSys F LC1F400 contactor and dissipates 14 W of heat during operation across the full frequency range.
The coil's 100 ms operating time and 2400 cycles per hour maximum rate at 55 °C define the switching duty cycle for high-speed applications. With a mechanical life of 10 million cycles, the coil matches the contactor's endurance for heavy industrial use. Heat dissipation of 14 W must be considered in panel thermal calculations, particularly when multiple contactors are mounted in a sealed enclosure. The absence of a built-in suppressor means an external RC snubber or varistor should be added across the coil terminals when switching inductive loads or when the control circuit includes a PLC output.
