The LX1G3RKUEN is a Schneider TeSys contactor coil module — the control-side component that drives the main contactor armature. It accepts a 100…250 V AC/DC control supply (50/60 Hz), with built-in bidirectional peak limiting that suppresses back-EMF and reduces radiated noise on the control wiring. That peak-limiting circuit means you don't need an external snubber for coil suppression, simplifying panel wiring and reducing parts count.
Coil power and thermal headroom
Inrush draws 645 W DC or 840 VA at 240 V AC, 60 Hz, then drops to a 5.9 W DC / 10.6 VA hold-in — a typical ratio for large contactor coils. That inrush transient matters for control transformer sizing: if you're feeding multiple coils from a single 240 VA transformer, sequence the closure to avoid sag. Hold power is modest, so continuous energization doesn't tax the supply. Ambient operating range is -13...140 °F (-25...60 °C). Storage range is -76...176 °F (-60...80 °C). Altitude derating starts above 9842.52 ft (3000 m); at 5000 m a derating factor applies.
Physical fit and termination
IP20 rated (finger-safe, no water ingress). Mechanical durability rated 5 million cycles; maximum operating rate 600 cycles/min at 140 °F (60 °C). For high-cycle applications (e.g., conveyor indexing), that rate is within spec.
