The Schneider Electric LX1G3TKUEN is a TeSys-range contactor coil intended for 3-pole contactors. It accepts a wide control supply from 100 to 250 V AC or DC at 50/60 Hz, which means a single coil voltage covers both common line-voltage and DC-pilot applications across a facility. Opening takes 20 to 35 ms; closing 40 to 55 ms. Those switching times are tight enough for standard motor starting and for sequencing with electronic overloads, and the built-in bidirectional peak limiting circuit suppresses the inductive kick internally—no external RC snubber or freewheel diode needed.
The control circuit voltage range—0.8 to 1.1 Uc at 60 °C—confirms the coil picks cleanly through brownout conditions; drop-out is between 0 and 0.45 Uc, giving reliable release without chatter. Operating temperature spans -13 to 140 °F (-25 to 60 °C), with storage from -76 to 176 °F (-60 to 80 °C). The wider permissible ambient around the device when powered (-40 to 158 °F / -40 to 70 °C at Uc) means the coil can stay energized in a hot enclosure without derating. IP20 protects against finger contact during panel maintenance. Electromagnetic compatibility testing includes immunity to radiated fields up to 20 V/m per IEC 61000-4-3 and passes SEMI F47 voltage-dip thresholds. This is important when the contactor sits near VFDs, welders, or semiconductor fab tools.
