The LX1G4QLSEA is a 4-pole contactor coil in the TeSys range, accepting 200-500 V AC/DC with bidirectional peak limiting. It is obsolete; confirm drop-out at 0...0.45 Uc at 60°C.
The opening time of 20...35 ms and closing time of 40...55 ms are typical for a modular contactor coil in this frame; sequence interlocks or safety circuits that depend on timing should allow these windows. Mechanical durability is rated at 5 million cycles — that's not the limit for the entire contactor, only the coil armature, so this component will outlast many electro-mechanical cycles in normal motor-switching duty. The coil accepts control circuit conductors via push-in terminals sized for 0.2 to 2.5 mm² solid or stranded (AWG 26 to 12), and flexible wire with end sleeves from 0.25 to 2.5 mm² (AWG 24 to 14). You can mount this in enclosures up to 3000 m altitude without derating, and up to 5000 m with de-rating. The IP20 protection means a finger-safe enclosure is fine for the panel interior, but not exposed to dripping liquids. Ambient temperature range for operation is -13 to 140°F (-25 to 60°C). The coil draws 155 W DC peak inrush and 255 VA at 480 V AC 60 Hz, holding at 3.4 W DC and 13.4 VA — that is the steady-state burden on the control transformer.
