The coil has no built-in suppressor module. This is critical: you must add an external freewheeling diode or RC snubber across the coil terminals. Without it, the inductive kick – the coil inductance is 230 H and inrush power is 1600 W at 20 °C – will arc across the control contacts and eventually destroy the pilot device or PLC output driving it. That puts it in the standard-duty range for a general-purpose contactor coil. If your application requires frequent on-off cycles (e.g., a resistance heater or motor jogging), verify the duty cycle against the contactor's own rating.
