Product details

This coil energizes the contactor armature when 24 V AC is applied, pulling in the main poles. The low-consumption design (10.9 W) reduces heat buildup inside the enclosure compared to standard AC coils, which matters when multiple contactors share a panel. No built-in suppressor module is included — an external RC snubber or varistor should be added across the coil terminals if the control circuit drives inductive loads that could cause voltage spikes.

The LX9FG024 is officially discontinued by Schneider. For new designs or replacement, evaluate the LX1FJ048 (48 V AC, 15 W) or LX1FG042 (42 V AC 50 Hz, 55 W) — these are same-series TeSys F coils but with different voltage and power ratings, so a panel rewire or control transformer change may be required. Sourcing is through surplus or broker channels; an RFQ is the fastest way to confirm availability and lead time.
