The METSEEM3555 is a PowerLogic EM3555 panel-mount power meter from Schneider, wired for three-phase systems on a 347 V supply. It accepts low-voltage current transformer inputs at 0.333 V or 1 V and handles a switching current of 32 kA. Accuracy is Class 0.2S for both power and energy per IEC 62053-22 and ANSI C12.20, with a backlit LCD showing five digits. Communication is Modbus RTU over a 2-wire bus at 1200 to 38400 bps.

Selection vs METSEEM3555A

The key difference from the sibling METSEEM3555A is the input type: the METSEEM3555 uses low-voltage CTs (0.333 V or 1 V) while the METSEEM3555A uses a Rogowski coil rated 50 to 5000 A. The switching current also differs — 32 kA on the METSEEM3555 versus 5 kA on the METSEEM3555A. Choose the METSEEM3555 when the installation already has LV CTs and needs the higher 32 kA switching capacity; pick the METSEEM3555A for Rogowski-based metering at lower fault levels.
