The MGN60536 is a C60N miniature circuit breaker from the Multi9 range, a 3-pole unit with a D-curve thermal-magnetic trip set at 16 A. It is rated for distribution duty under EN/IEC 60947-2, Category A, meaning it is not intended for motor switching but for cable and equipment protection in final subcircuits. The 20 kA Icu at 240 V AC phase-to-phase gives it a high fault-clearing ceiling for a 3-module-wide (54 mm) DIN-rail device; the service breaking capacity Ics is 75 % of that figure (15 kA at 240 V), so it can reclose after a fault at that level without replacement. The D-curve magnetic trip operates at 12 x In ±20 %, which suits loads with a high inrush — small transformers, power supplies, or lighting ballasts — where a C-curve would nuisance-trip.
The 54 mm width occupies 6 x 9 mm pitches. IP20 finger-safe terminals are standard for enclosed panel use. The toggle provides local ON/OFF indication and a contact position indicator confirms isolation status — the breaker is certified for isolation duty per EN/IEC 60947-2.
