The MGN60550 is a Schneider Electric C60N miniature circuit breaker from the Multi9 range, rated 20 A at 50 °C per EN/IEC 60947-2 with a D-curve and 4 protected poles.
The C60N delivers 20 kA Icu at 240 V AC phase-to-phase, 10 kA at 415 V, and 6 kA at 440 V — all per EN/IEC 60947-2. The corresponding Ics (service breaking capacity) is 75 % of Icu at each voltage level: 15 kA at 240 V, 7.5 kA at 415 V, and 4.5 kA at 440 V. That Ics margin means the breaker can be reclosed after clearing a fault at those levels without immediate replacement, which matters for selectivity coordination in a distribution board.
Trip curve and application
The D-curve magnetic trip is set at 12 x In ±20 %, so the breaker holds through motor inrush and transformer energization without nuisance tripping. Thermal-magnetic trip technology covers both overload and short-circuit protection. Rated operational voltage is 440 V AC phase-to-phase, 240 V phase-to-neutral.
The 4-pole unit occupies 8 x 9 mm pitches (72 mm wide). Pollution degree 3 per EN/IEC 60947-2, IP20 finger-safe terminals.
