Four protected poles on a 4P frame give you full isolation on a 3-phase + neutral DC or AC circuit — the suitability-for-isolation marking (per EN/IEC 60947-2) means you can use it as a visible-break disconnect for lockout/tagout. That 50 kA DC figure is unusually high for a 1 A frame — it safely interrupts a hard fault on a battery bank or DC bus without cascading upstream.
