Selectivity and coordination
Rated service breaking capacity (Ics) is 15 kA at 240 V AC (50 % of Icu), 7.5 kA at 415 V AC, and 50 kA at 250 V DC (100 % of Icu). That 100 % Ics at DC is unusual — the breaker clears a DC fault at full rated interrupting capacity without derating, which matters for battery-backed or rectifier-fed DC bus protection. For AC coordination, the 50 % Ics figure means the breaker can be reclosed after a fault at that level; above it, replacement is recommended per EN/IEC 60947-2 Category A.
