The MGN60907 is a Schneider Electric C60N miniature circuit-breaker from the Multi9 range, rated 16 A at 50 °C with a C-curve trip characteristic.
Rated 20 kA Icu at 240 V AC phase-to-phase, 10 kA at 415 V, and 6 kA at 440 V per EN/IEC 60947-2. The service breaking capacity Ics is 75 % of Icu at each voltage level — 15 kA at 240 V, 7.5 kA at 415 V, 4.5 kA at 440 V. That 75 % ratio means the breaker can be reclosed after a fault at that level without immediate replacement, which matters for uptime in a distribution board where a downstream fault is cleared and the feeder needs to come back online.
Trip unit and coordination
Thermal-magnetic trip with a magnetic threshold of 8.5 x In ±20 %. For a 16 A breaker that puts the instantaneous trip between roughly 109 A and 163 A. The C-curve is the standard choice for moderate inrush loads — motor starters, small transformers, banks of LED drivers — where the magnetic pickup needs to ride through the start surge without nuisance tripping but still clear a hard short fast.
Snaps onto 35 mm symmetrical DIN rail. Occupies 8 x 9 mm pitches (72 mm wide) for the 4-pole body. IP20 finger-safe front — standard for enclosed distribution boards.
