MH3 frame, three-phase servo with Hiperface feedback
The Schneider Electric MH31901P06F2200 is a member of the MH3 device family of three-phase AC servo motors built on a 190 mm international-standard flange with a 248 mm body length. It is paired on the feedback side with a single-turn SinCos Hiperface encoder, the standard commutation and position reference for drives in the Lexium 52 and Lexium 62 families. The body is sealed to IP65 and cooled by natural convection, so it drops into a panel or machine frame without ducting or external blowers.
Torque envelope and continuous power
Holding torque sits at 32 N.m (283.2 lbf.in) with a continuous stall torque of 30 N.m (265.5 lbf.in) across the 115 to 480 V three-phase supply range; nominal torque under typical drive loading is 16.5 N.m (146.04 lbf.in) with either the LXM52 or LXM62 servo drive at 14.00 mA loop current, 400 V or 480 V three-phase. Peak stall reaches 110 N.m (973.6 lbf.in) for short acceleration pulses, and continuous output power is 6750 W. Continuous stall current draws 23.2 A with a maximum Irms of 89.6 A, so upstream drive sizing must clear the peak-to-continuous ratio for the duty cycle the machine actually runs.
Shaft, brake, and electrical connection
Output side is a smooth 38 mm diameter shaft with an 80 mm shaft length and no second shaft end; the integrated holding brake pulls in at 22.5 W and is specified for vertical-axis and gravity-loaded holding duty. Power and feedback terminate through rotatable right-angled connectors, giving the cabinet builder a flexible lead dress regardless of mounting orientation. Encoder protocol is single-turn SinCos Hiperface, which provides absolute singleturn position over the same cable as the motor power leads when paired with the matching Lexium drive.
Mechanical mounting and shaft load
Mounting is an international-standard flange with 14 mm mounting holes and a 180 mm centring collar at 4 mm depth; the flange footprint fits the standard 190 mm machine-frame cutout used across the MH3 family. Maximum radial force Fr is rated 2900 N at 1000 rpm, tapering to 2600 N at 4000 rpm — belt or coupling pre-load must stay under these curves or bearing life shortens. Temperature class is 135 °C copper hot, so thermal protection trips inside the insulation envelope the drive expects.
Sourcing posture for this MH3 build
Production status is marked current in the lifecycle record; with no L-entry successor on file, no official cross-reference part is named here. Quoting is handled against the BOM on RFQ — independent distribution channel, lead time and quantity pricing confirmed at quote, no stock or ship-time commitment made on the listing. Each unit ships one per package with manufacturer traceability retained through the supply chain.
