Three-phase servo, 29 N.m continuous at 2000 rpm
The MH31902P17A2200 is the MH3-frame servo in the sizing reference MH31902P, a three-phase permanent-magnet servo motor with a 7.5 in (190 mm) international-standard flange and a parallel-key shaft. It delivers 29 N.m of nominal torque at 2000 rpm whether it is being driven from an LXM52 or an LXM62 drive at 400 V or 480 V three-phase, and its 6260 W continuous power rating is set against a 135 °C copper-hot temperature ceiling. Peak stall torque is 220 N.m across the 115 to 480 V three-phase operating envelope, with a 30.8 A continuous stall current and 114 A maximum Irms — meaning the drive sizing has to clear the peak envelope, not just the nominal 29 N.m working point.
Hiperface feedback, no brake, natural convection
Feedback is a Multiturn SinCos Hiperface encoder — the absolute multiturn protocol the Lexium 52 and 62 drives speak natively, so commissioning does not need an external battery box or separate absolute-value module. Electrical connection is through rotatable right-angled connectors, which lets the cabinet builder dress the cable without a 90° adapter once the motor is bolted down.
Mechanical envelope: 38 mm shaft, 3200 N radial, 3800 rpm
Shaft diameter is 38 mm with an 80 mm shaft length and a 10 mm parallel key — the standard MH3 mounting footprint with a 4-hole pattern on 14 mm holes and a 180 mm centring collar recessed 4 mm. Maximum radial force Fr is 3200 N at 1000 rpm and drops with speed to 2950 N at 4000 rpm; maximum mechanical speed is 3800 rpm — so a belt or pinion drive sized for the nominal 2000 rpm working point leaves headroom before either the radial load or the speed envelope is approached. IP65 is the standard rating, meaning the housing and the shaft seal tolerate hosed-down plant floors and dusty cells as long as the connector face is mated to a sealed cordset.
