93.4 mm body, 40 mm flange — drops into the old footprint
The SH30402P07A2100 measures 93.4 mm in length with a 40 mm flange size, matching the international standard flange pattern. That means it fits the same bolt circle and pilot diameter as most compact servo motors in this power class — no need to re-drill the mounting plate or rework the coupling alignment. Shaft diameter is 8 mm with a 25 mm smooth shaft end. No keyway, no D-cut — the coupling clamps directly onto the shaft. If your existing motor had a keyed shaft, budget for a new clamping-style coupling; the shaft geometry is different.
4000 or 9000 rpm — voltage decides the top end
Nominal speed is 4000 rpm on single-phase 115 V or 230 V supply, and 9000 rpm on three-phase 400 V or 480 V. The maximum mechanical speed is 9000 rpm, so the three-phase configuration runs the motor at its mechanical limit. If your line is wired for single-phase, you trade top speed for installation simplicity. Nominal torque follows the same split: 0.292 N.m on single-phase, 0.31 N.m on three-phase. Continuous stall torque is 0.39 N.m across the full voltage range, so the motor holds its low-speed torque regardless of supply. The torque constant is 0.26 N.m/A at 120 °C copper temperature — that's the hot-winding figure, not the cold-start value.
Absolute multiturn encoder — no homing cycle after power loss
The encoder is an absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface type with 16 periods per revolution. That means the drive knows the rotor position immediately on power-up — no reference run, no homing routine. For a retrofit into a machine that had incremental encoders, this saves one full commissioning step. Back EMF constant is 18 V/krpm at 20 °C. Stator resistance is 11.6 Ohm and inductance is 6.4 mH. These are the numbers the drive autotune uses to set current loops; if you're swapping this motor into an existing drive, run the autotune cycle — don't reuse the old parameters.
IP65, natural convection, no brake — sealed and light
IP65 rating on both the motor body and the shaft bushing per IEC 60034-5. That means it withstands hose-down and dust ingress — suitable for food-and-beverage lines or washdown zones. The connector is a rotatable right-angle type, so the cable exit direction adjusts during installation without opening the housing. Cooling is natural convection — no fan, no forced air. The continuous stall current is 1.5 A, and the maximum RMS current is 7.2 A. The 3-second peak current is also 7.2 A, so the overload capability is current-limited by the drive, not the motor windings.
