Speed and torque across supply voltages
The SH30702M01A2200: This SH3 frame servo delivers nominal speeds that shift with the supply: 750 rpm on 115 V single-phase, 1500 rpm on 230 V single-phase, 3000 rpm on 400 V three-phase, and 3600 rpm on 480 V three-phase. The nominal torque also varies — 2.2 Nm at 115 V single-phase, dropping to 2.03 Nm at 400 V three-phase and 480 V three-phase. That means the motor's rated output power changes from 700 W on 115 V single-phase down to 660 W on 400 V three-phase and up to 780 W on 480 V three-phase.
Continuous ratings and stall performance
Continuous power is 640 W, with a continuous stall torque of 2.04 Nm across the 115–480 V three-phase range. The continuous stall current sits at 1.5 A, while peak stall torque reaches 7.6 Nm with a 6.0 A peak current for 3 seconds. The torque constant is 1.36 Nm/A at 120 °C copper temperature — use this for drive current loop tuning.
Feedback and environmental protection
The encoder is an absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface type — provides position feedback on power-up without a homing cycle, suitable for applications that need absolute position retention within one revolution. Back EMF constant is 95.9 V/krpm at 20 °C, which sets the voltage ceiling for the drive's DC bus at high speeds. IP65 rating on the motor body and shaft bushing, with IP67 on the housing per IEC 60034-5 — the shaft bushing seal is the wet-end barrier, so the motor withstands washdown but the connector interface needs matching IP-rated cabling. Cooling is by natural convection only — no forced air or liquid cooling, so the thermal budget depends on the mounting surface and ambient airflow.
Mounting and mechanical interface
International standard flange, 70 mm flange size, with a 60 mm centring collar and 2.5 mm collar depth. Four mounting holes at 5.5 mm diameter accept M5 bolts. The shaft is 11 mm diameter, 23 mm length, smooth (no keyway) — specify a shaft clamp or friction coupling. Maximum radial force at the shaft end is 710 N at 1000 rpm, derating to 390 N at 6000 rpm; maximum axial force is 80 N. Electrical connection options include a straight connector and a rotatable right-angled connector — choose based on cable exit clearance in the cabinet. Overall motor length is 187 mm.
