Three-phase servo with integrated holding brake
The SH30702M01F2000 is a three-phase servo motor from Schneider's SH3 series, wound for three-phase supply only — not a single-phase motor. The nominal speed shifts with the line voltage: 3000 rpm at 400 V three-phase, 3600 rpm at 480 V three-phase, and derated to 750 rpm at 115 V single-phase or 1500 rpm at 230 V single-phase if fed from a VFD that synthesizes single-phase input.
Encoder feedback and position loop fit
The encoder is an absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface type — this is a Schneider-standard feedback protocol, not incremental or multi-turn. The drive controller must support Hiperface communication; a standard incremental encoder input will not read the absolute position. Continuous power is 640 W, with a continuous stall torque of 2.04 N·m across the 115–480 V three-phase range. Peak stall torque reaches 7.6 N·m (67.3 lbf·in), but that is duty-cycle limited — the motor cannot sustain peak torque continuously without exceeding the 130 °C copper hot-spot temperature.
Mounting and environmental sealing
The motor uses a 70 mm flange (IEC standard) with a 60 mm centring collar and 2.5 mm collar depth — this is a B5 or B14 flange pattern. The four mounting holes are 5.5 mm diameter on a bolt circle that matches the flange size. IP rating depends on the shaft seal: without the seal ring, the shaft bushing is IP54; with the seal ring installed, both the motor body and shaft bushing achieve IP65 per IEC 60034-5. For washdown or wet environments, the seal ring must be specified at order.
