Speed and power across supply voltages
The SH30702M01F2200 delivers 3000 rpm nominal at 400 V three-phase input, with 660 W nominal output power. At 480 V three-phase it runs 3600 rpm and 780 W. On single-phase 115 V it drops to 750 rpm at 700 W; on single-phase 230 V it runs 1500 rpm at 340 W. Continuous power rating is 640 W across the operating envelope.
Encoder and feedback — absolute single-turn Hiperface
The motor ships with an absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface encoder. This is a SinCos interface with a serial data channel for absolute position — it requires a drive with a Hiperface-compatible feedback port. Single-turn means the absolute position repeats every revolution; for multi-turn applications you need a different encoder option or an external multi-turn sensor. Torque constant is 1.36 N·m/A at 120 °C copper temperature; back EMF constant is 95.9 V/krpm at 20 °C. Stator resistance is 16.4 Ω and inductance 115.7 mH — these set the electrical time constant and the drive's current-loop tuning limits.
Holding brake and mechanical limits
The integrated holding brake delivers 3 N·m holding torque (26.6 lbf·in) — enough to hold a vertical-axis load at rest without power. The brake is spring-set, electrically released; wire the brake release voltage to the drive's brake control output. Maximum mechanical speed is 8000 rpm, well above the nominal 3000 rpm, giving overspeed margin for high-speed indexing or spindle applications. Maximum radial force Fr derates with speed: 710 N at 1000 rpm down to 390 N at 6000 rpm. Maximum axial force Fa is 80 N. These limit the belt-tension or overhung-load capacity — a direct-coupled load is safer than a belt drive at high radial loads.
Environmental sealing and mounting
IP65 on the motor body and shaft bushing, IP67 on the housing — both conforming to IEC 60034-5. This means the motor withstands hose-down cleaning and dust ingress, suitable for food-and-beverage or washdown environments. Cooling is natural convection (no fan), so the ambient temperature and duty cycle must stay within the continuous torque envelope. Mounting is via an international standard flange with a 70 mm (2.8 in) flange size, centring collar diameter 60 mm (2.4 in) and depth 2.5 mm (0.10 in). The shaft is smooth, 11 mm diameter, 23 mm length, with a 4 mm keyway. Connector options: straight connector and rotatable right-angled connector — choose based on cable exit direction in the cabinet.
