Motor ratings and speed range
The SH30702M11A1000 is a three-phase servo motor from the SH3 series, delivering 640 W continuous power. Its nominal speed depends on the supply: 750 rpm at 115 V single-phase, 1500 rpm at 230 V single-phase, 3000 rpm at 400 V three-phase, and 3600 rpm at 480 V three-phase — so the same motor covers both low-speed and high-speed lines depending on the drive voltage. Nominal torque also shifts with voltage: 2.2 N.m at 115 V single-phase, 2.15 N.m at 230 V single-phase, and 2.03 N.m at both 400 V and 480 V three-phase. Peak stall torque reaches 7.6 N.m across the 115–480 V three-phase range, giving headroom for acceleration transients.
Encoder and feedback
The motor carries an absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface encoder — a standard feedback interface for servo drives that provides position at power-up without a homing cycle. The single-turn resolution is sufficient for applications that do not need multi-turn counts, such as indexing tables or pick-and-place axes.
Mounting and environmental protection
Mounting uses an international standard flange with a 70 mm flange size and a 60 mm centring collar. The IP degree of protection is IP54 at the shaft bushing without a shaft seal ring, and IP65 on the motor body and with the shaft seal ring fitted — so the motor can handle washdown zones if the seal is installed. Cooling is by natural convection — no external fan, so the motor relies on its own surface area and mounting plate for heat dissipation. The continuous stall current is 1.5 A, and the maximum continuous current is 6.0 A (3 s peak).
