Motor ratings and supply-voltage dependency
The SH30702M11A2100 is a three-phase servo motor from the SH3 series, rated for 640 W continuous power. Its nominal speed and torque vary with the supply voltage: at 400 V three-phase it delivers 3000 rpm and 2.03 N.m; at 480 V three-phase it reaches 3600 rpm and 2.03 N.m; under 115 V single-phase it runs at 750 rpm with 2.2 N.m. The motor is cooled by natural convection, so no forced-air or liquid cooling is required — a factor for enclosure thermal design.
Encoder and feedback — drive compatibility
The motor is equipped with an absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface encoder. This feedback type is widely supported by Schneider Electric's Lexium drive family and many third-party servo drives; confirm the drive's encoder interface supports Hiperface before specifying. The electrical connection uses a rotatable right-angled connector, which simplifies cable routing in tight cabinets.
Mechanical interface and mounting
The motor mounts via an international standard flange (70 mm flange size, 60 mm centring collar diameter) with a parallel key shaft end (11 mm shaft diameter, 23 mm shaft length). The centring collar depth is 2.5 mm. Maximum radial force at the shaft is 710 N at 1000 rpm, derating to 390 N at 6000 rpm; maximum axial force is 80 N. These limits govern belt-drive or direct-coupling design.
Environmental protection and compliance
Both the motor body and the shaft bushing are rated IP65 per IEC 60034-5, making the unit suitable for washdown environments and dusty industrial floors.
