Speed range and voltage dependency
The SH30702M11F2000: This SH3 frame servo delivers 750 rpm on 115 V single-phase, 1500 rpm on 230 V single-phase, 3000 rpm on 400 V three-phase, and 3600 rpm on 480 V three-phase. The nominal torque holds steady at 2.2 N.m across the single-phase voltages, dropping slightly to 2.03 N.m on three-phase supplies — the torque curve is flat enough that the machine cycle won't shift when you swap supply configurations. Maximum mechanical speed is 8000 rpm, so the motor can overspeed the rated points for short-duration moves if the drive and load inertia allow it.
Brake and encoder — what the techs need
The holding brake delivers 3 N.m (26.6 lbf.in) — enough to hold a vertical axis or a conveyor stop without the drive holding torque. The brake is engaged when the motor is unpowered, so the load stays put on a power loss. Feedback comes from an absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface encoder. Single-turn means the position is known within one revolution on power-up — no homing sequence needed for rotary tables or pick-and-place axes that don't need multi-turn tracking. The torque constant is 1.36 N.m/A at 120 °C copper temperature — that's the figure to use for the drive current loop tuning, not the cold value.
Continuous power and thermal limits
Continuous power is rated at 640 W, with nominal output power varying by supply: 700 W on 115 V single-phase, 340 W on 230 V single-phase, 660 W on 400 V three-phase, and 780 W on 480 V three-phase. The 640 W continuous figure is the safe thermal limit for the winding — the motor relies on natural convection cooling, so mounting it in a confined space or against a heat trap will reduce the usable duty cycle. Continuous stall torque is 2.04 N.m across the 115–480 V three-phase range, with a continuous stall current of 1.5 A. The peak stall torque reaches 7.6 N.m — about 3.7× the continuous rating — for acceleration and deceleration moves.
Mounting and environmental fit
The motor uses an international standard flange with a 70 mm (2.8 in) flange size and a 60 mm centring collar. The shaft is 11 mm diameter with a parallel key, 23 mm shaft length, and 4 mm key width — standard for this frame size, so pulleys and couplings are off-the-shelf items. The shaft bushing without seal ring is IP54, so if the application has direct spray on the shaft seal, specify the shaft seal ring option. Electrical connection is via a straight connector or a rotatable right-angled connector — the right-angle version helps in tight cable trays or when the motor is mounted close to a panel wall.
Lifecycle and sourcing
The sizing reference is SH30702M, so if you're replacing an existing SH30702M motor, confirm the connector type and brake voltage match this variant before committing the purchase order.
