Active production, multi-voltage speed range
The SH30702M11F2100: Nominal speed climbs with voltage — 750 rpm at 115 V single-phase, 1500 rpm at 230 V single-phase, 3000 rpm at 400 V three-phase, and 3600 rpm at 480 V three-phase. The maximum mechanical speed is 8000 rpm, so the motor has headroom above the rated points for short-duration moves.
Brake, encoder, and IP65 — what they mean for fit
The integrated holding brake holds 3 N·m (26.6 lbf·in) when de-energized — enough to lock the load on a vertical axis or conveyor stop without a separate brake resistor. The absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface encoder gives position feedback on power-up without a homing cycle, which saves time on multi-axis machines. IP65 rating on the motor body and shaft bushing (per IEC 60034-5) means the motor withstands washdown spray and airborne dust — suitable for food processing, packaging, or machine-tool coolant environments. Natural convection cooling keeps the design simple; no fan to clog or replace.
Torque and electrical parameters for sizing
Peak stall torque reaches 7.6 N·m (67.3 lbf·in) across the 115–480 V three-phase range — useful for acceleration spikes during indexing. Continuous stall torque is 2.04 N·m (18.06 lbf·in) at 1.5 A continuous stall current, with a torque constant of 1.36 N·m/A at 120 °C copper temperature. Stator resistance is 16.4 Ω and inductance 115.7 mH — these set the electrical time constant and influence the servo drive tuning parameters. Maximum continuous current is 6 A RMS, which governs the drive sizing for sustained duty cycles.
Mounting and mechanical interface
The motor uses an international standard flange with a 70 mm (2.8 in) flange size and 60 mm centring collar. Shaft diameter is 11 mm (0.4 in) with a parallel key and 23 mm shaft length — a common interface for direct coupling to ball screws or timing pulleys without an adapter plate.
