Speed-torque envelope across supply voltages
The SH30702M12F1200: This motor delivers different nominal speeds depending on the supply: 750 rpm on 115 V single-phase, 1500 rpm on 230 V single-phase, 3000 rpm on 400 V three-phase, and 3600 rpm on 480 V three-phase. Nominal torque also shifts — 2.2 N.m on 115 V single-phase, 2.15 N.m on 230 V single-phase, and 2.03 N.m on both 400 V and 480 V three-phase. The continuous power rating is 640 W across the board, but nominal output power varies: 700 W on 115 V single-phase, 340 W on 230 V single-phase, 660 W on 400 V three-phase, and 780 W on 480 V three-phase. The peak stall torque reaches 7.6 N.m across the 115–480 V three-phase range, and continuous stall torque is 2.04 N.m. Holding brake torque is 3 N.m — adequate for vertical-axis loads that need to stay put when the drive is disabled.
Encoder and feedback — absolute multitouch Hiperface
The absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface encoder eliminates the need for a homing cycle after power loss — the rotor position is known on power-up. This saves commissioning time on multi-axis machines where each axis would otherwise need to find its reference mark. The electrical connection uses a rotatable right-angled connector or a straight connector, giving flexibility in cable routing within the cabinet.
Environmental sealing and cooling
IP65 on the motor body and shaft bushing, IP67 on the housing per IEC 60034-5 — this motor withstands washdown and dust ingress without an external fan. Cooling is natural convection, so no fan filter to maintain. Maximum mechanical speed is 8000 rpm, but radial force limits drop with speed: 710 N at 1000 rpm, 560 N at 2000 rpm, 490 N at 3000 rpm, and 390 N at 6000 rpm. The bearing load rating follows the application speed.
