Speed and torque across supply voltages
The SH30702M12F2200 delivers a nominal speed of 750 rpm on 115 V single-phase, 1500 rpm on 230 V single-phase, 3000 rpm on 400 V three-phase, and 3600 rpm on 480 V three-phase. Nominal torque varies accordingly: 2.2 N.m at 115 V, 2.15 N.m at 230 V, and 2.03 N.m at both 400 V and 480 V three-phase. The continuous stall torque is 2.04 N.m across the 115–480 V three-phase range, with a peak stall torque of 7.6 N.m for short-duration acceleration moves.
Feedback and brake for vertical-axis holding
The absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface encoder provides position feedback with multi-turn count — no homing cycle needed on power-up, which matters for gantry or vertical axes where the load position must be known immediately. The holding brake delivers 3 N.m static torque, sized to hold the rated load on a vertical axis without power to the motor windings. The brake is a spring-applied, power-off type — engages when the drive enable drops. For a 2.2 N.m nominal torque motor, the 3 N.m brake gives a 1.36× safety factor on the holding capacity, enough for most Z-axis applications without an external counterbalance.
Environmental sealing and mounting
IP65 on the motor body and shaft bushing, IP67 on the housing — the motor withstands washdown and dust ingress. The straight connector and rotatable right-angled connector give two cable-exit options; the right-angle connector helps in tight cable-tray spaces. The 70 mm flange is an international standard pattern, and the centring collar is 60 mm diameter by 2.5 mm deep. Natural convection cooling — no fan, so the motor relies on the mounting surface and ambient airflow for heat rejection. The continuous power of 640 W is the thermal limit under natural convection at rated ambient. The maximum radial force at 3000 rpm is 490 N, which sets the belt-drive or direct-coupling load limit.
