Speed-torque envelope across supply voltages
The SH30703M01F1100: This SH3 frame motor delivers 880 W nominal at 400 V three-phase (3000 rpm) and 1030 W at 480 V three-phase (3600 rpm). On single-phase 230 V it produces 460 W at 1500 rpm; on 115 V single-phase, 240 W at 750 rpm. The nominal torque sits at 2.63 N.m across the three-phase range and 2.95 N.m on 230 V single-phase. Peak stall torque reaches 11.3 N.m (100 lbf.in) across the 115–480 V three-phase band, against a continuous stall torque of 2.94 N.m. The 3.8× peak-to-continuous ratio suits applications requiring short-duration acceleration or override torque without oversizing the frame.
Feedback, brake, and environmental sealing
The absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface encoder provides position feedback on power-up without a homing cycle — critical for applications where the machine must resume from the last known position after a power loss. The holding brake delivers 3 N.m (26.6 lbf.in) static holding torque, enough to lock the vertical axis load when the drive is disabled. Cooling is by natural convection only; the 130 °C copper hot-spot temperature sets the thermal limit under continuous stall current (2.1 A).
Mechanical interface and load limits
The motor mounts on a 70 mm (2.8 in) international standard flange with a 60 mm centring collar and 5.5 mm mounting holes. The 14 mm smooth shaft extends 30 mm with a 5 mm keyway — no key provided, so the coupling bore must be broached to match. Overall length is 254 mm (10 in). Maximum radial force at the shaft nose is 730 N at 1000 rpm, derating to 400 N at 6000 rpm. Axial force is limited to 80 N. The maximum mechanical speed is 8000 rpm, well above the rated speeds — the limit is the bearing load, not the rotor balance.
