Speed–voltage curve and the 3000 rpm design point
The SH30703M02F1000 delivers 3000 rpm nominal at 400 V three-phase supply, with the speed scaling to 3600 rpm at 480 V three-phase and dropping to 750 rpm at 115 V single-phase. For a 400 V line, this is the rated operating point; the motor's continuous power at that condition is 880 W.
Brake and encoder — what they mean for the application
The holding brake delivers 3 N.m (26.6 lbf.in) holding torque, enough to hold a vertical-axis load at standstill without power to the motor. The absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface encoder provides position feedback over multiple shaft revolutions — no homing sequence needed after a power cycle, which matters for tool-change or pick-and-place axes where lost position means a crash.
Torque and overload margin across supply voltages
Nominal torque is 3.05 N.m at 115 V single-phase, 2.95 N.m at 230 V single-phase, and 2.63 N.m at both 400 V and 480 V three-phase. Peak stall torque reaches 11.3 N.m across the three-phase range — roughly 4.3× the continuous stall torque of 2.94 N.m, giving a healthy overload margin for acceleration and in-position settling.
Environmental sealing and mounting
The motor carries IP54 at the shaft bushing without the shaft seal ring and IP65 with the seal ring fitted (per IEC 60034-5). In a washdown or coolant-mist environment, specify the shaft seal ring to keep the front bearing and encoder dry. The flange is the international standard 70 mm (2.8 in) size with a 60 mm centring collar and 5.5 mm mounting holes.
