Motor ratings that decide the fit
The SH30703M02F2000 delivers 830 W continuous power and 3.05 Nm nominal torque at 115 V single phase, stepping to 2.63 Nm at 400 V three phase — the torque curve shifts with the supply voltage, so the BOM voltage determines the usable output. Peak stall torque reaches 11.3 Nm across the 115–480 V three-phase range, enough for aggressive acceleration cycles on indexing tables or pick-and-place axes. The holding brake holds 3 Nm static torque with the motor unpowered — this is the figure that matters for vertical-axis safety, not the dynamic braking torque.
Encoder and feedback — absolute position without homing
Absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface encoder means the drive knows the shaft position at power-up — no homing sequence needed after a power cycle, which saves cycle time on multi-axis machines. The encoder feedback is compatible with Schneider's Lexium drive family; the Hiperface protocol carries position and temperature data on a single cable pair.
IP rating and cooling — where it can run
IP54 on the shaft bushing without the shaft seal ring, IP65 on the motor body and with the shaft bushing seal ring fitted — the seal ring is the difference between washdown-capable and dry-area duty. Natural convection cooling means no fan noise or filter maintenance, but the 830 W rating assumes free airflow around the motor flange — derate if panel-mounted in a confined enclosure.
