830 W servo with holding brake — SH3 frame
The SH30703M11F1000 is a 830 W continuous power servo motor in the SH3 frame family, with a 70 mm flange and an integrated holding brake rated at 3 N.m (26.6 lbf.in). It carries an absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface encoder — no homing sequence needed on power-up; the position is known immediately, which cuts commissioning time on multi-axis lines. The motor is three-phase and delivers nameplate torque that varies with supply voltage: 3.05 N.m at 115 V single phase, 2.95 N.m at 230 V single phase, and 2.63 N.m at both 400 V and 480 V three-phase supplies.
Speed range and shaft details
Nominal speed depends on the drive voltage: 750 rpm on 115 V single phase, 1500 rpm on 230 V single phase, 3000 rpm on 400 V three phase, and 3600 rpm on 480 V three phase. Maximum mechanical speed is 8000 rpm. The shaft is 14 mm diameter with a parallel key, 30 mm shaft length, and 5 mm key width — standard for the SH3 frame. The motor flange is 70 mm with a 60 mm centring collar and 2.5 mm collar depth.
Environmental and connection notes
IP degree of protection is IP65 on the motor body, with the shaft bushing rated IP65 when a shaft seal ring is fitted — suitable for washdown environments. Without the seal ring, the shaft bushing drops to IP54 per IEC 60034-5. Cooling is natural convection — no external fan, so the motor relies on its own surface area and mounting flange for heat dissipation. The continuous stall current is 2.1 A, and the maximum continuous current (Irms) is 8.7 A. Electrical connection options include both a rotatable right-angled connector and a straight connector — choose the one that fits the cable exit direction in your panel layout.
