What this SH3 servo motor delivers
The SH30703M11F2000 is a three-phase servo motor from the Schneider Electric SH3 series, rated for 830 W continuous power with a holding brake and an absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface encoder. Nominal speed depends on the supply voltage: 750 rpm at 115 V single-phase, 1500 rpm at 230 V single-phase, 3000 rpm at 400 V three-phase, and 3600 rpm at 480 V three-phase — so the same motor covers multiple line voltages by reconnecting the windings. Nominal torque also shifts with supply: 26.99 lbf.in (3.05 N.m) at 115 V single-phase down to 23.28 lbf.in (2.63 N.m) at 400 V or 480 V three-phase. The holding brake delivers 26.6 lbf.in (3 N.m) to lock the shaft at rest. Peak stall torque reaches 100.01 lbf.in (11.3 N.m) across the 115...480 V three-phase range — useful for short-duration overloads during acceleration or reversing.
Encoder, feedback, and position loop
The absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface encoder provides position feedback without a homing cycle on power-up — the drive knows the rotor angle immediately. This saves time on multi-axis lines where each axis would otherwise need to find its reference. Back EMF constant is 95 V/krpm at 68 °F (20 °C), and the torque constant is 1.4 N.m/A at 248 °F (120 °C) — both values the drive uses to calculate current commands for the demanded torque. Stator inductance is 76.85 mH and stator resistance is 10.7 Ohm — these set the electrical time constant and influence the current-loop tuning parameters in the servo drive.
Mounting, cooling, and environmental fit
The motor mounts on an international standard flange with a 2.8 in (70 mm) flange size and a 2.4 in (60 mm) centring collar. The shaft is 0.6 in (14 mm) diameter with a parallel key, 1.2 in (30 mm) shaft length. Cooling is natural convection — no fan or external blower required. The IP rating depends on the shaft seal: IP54 without a shaft seal ring, IP65 with the seal ring fitted. Both conform to IEC 60034-5.
No direct pin-compatible alternative within the SH3 family is listed as a successor; the sizing reference SH30703M confirms this is the current build.
