Speed and torque across supply voltages
The SH30703M12A1100 delivers nominal speeds from 750 rpm on 115 V single-phase up to 3600 rpm on 480 V three-phase, with nominal torque ranging from 3.05 N.m down to 2.63 N.m as voltage increases. Continuous power output varies by supply: 240 W at 115 V single-phase, 460 W at 230 V single-phase, 880 W at 400 V three-phase, and 1030 W at 480 V three-phase. The 880 W figure at 400 V three-phase is the most common operating point for European 400 V line-fed systems.
Encoder and feedback for position loops
Fitted with an absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface encoder — this gives position retention through power cycles and eliminates the need for a home sequence on startup. The Hiperface protocol carries both incremental SinCos tracks and absolute position data over a single cable pair, simplifying the feedback wiring back to the drive. No holding brake on this variant, so the load must be held by the drive's holding torque at standstill or by an external brake. For vertical-axis applications where power-off holding is required, specify the braked version of the SH3 frame.
Mounting, cooling, and environmental protection
Mounts on an international standard flange with a 70 mm flange size and 60 mm centring collar — this matches the common IEC 72-1 frame pattern for servo motors in the 1 kW class. The 5.5 mm mounting holes and 2.5 mm centring collar depth are standard for the SH3 frame. Cooled by natural convection, so no external fan or forced air is needed.
Electrical connections and cabling
The motor accepts both a rotatable right-angled connector and a straight connector — this gives flexibility for cable routing in tight cabinets or along moving axes. The connector orientation can be adjusted after mounting to align with the cable exit direction.
