Torque and speed across supply voltages
The SH30703M12A2200 delivers nominal torque that shifts with the supply: 3.05 N·m at 115 V single-phase, 2.95 N·m at 230 V single-phase, and 2.63 N·m at 400 V or 480 V three-phase. Nominal speed follows a similar pattern — 750 rpm at 115 V, 1500 rpm at 230 V, 3000 rpm at 400 V, and 3600 rpm at 480 V — so the motor's output characteristic depends on which rail it lands on. Peak stall torque holds at 11.3 N·m across the 115-480 V three-phase range, giving a short-duration overload capability roughly 4× the continuous stall torque of 2.94 N·m.
Encoder feedback and environmental sealing
The absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface encoder provides position feedback without a home cycle on power-up — the rotor position is known at boot, which matters for applications like gantry pick-and-place or rotary indexing where a reference move costs cycle time. The motor carries IP65 on the motor body and shaft bushing, and IP67 on the housing per IEC 60034-5. That means the winding and encoder survive washdown and temporary submersion at the connector interface, though the rotatable right-angled connector should be oriented so the cable exits downward to avoid pooling at the seal face. Cooling is natural convection — no fan, so the 830 W continuous power rating assumes free airflow around the flange. In a confined cabinet, the thermal limit will be reached sooner than the electrical rating suggests.
Sourcing and compliance posture
The motor is specified with an international standard flange (70 mm flange size, 60 mm centring collar, 2.5 mm collar depth) and a parallel key shaft end (14 mm diameter, 30 mm shaft length, 5 mm key width). These dimensions conform to IEC mounting standards, so the mechanical interface is consistent across the SH3 family.
