830 W servo with brake — speed range across supply voltages
The SH30703M12F2000 is a three-phase servo motor from the SH3 series, delivering 830 W continuous power. Its nominal speed varies significantly with the supply: 750 rpm at 115 V single phase, 1500 rpm at 230 V single phase, 3000 rpm at 400 V three phase, and 3600 rpm at 480 V three phase. Nominal torque also depends on the supply voltage — 26.99 lbf.in (3.05 N.m) at 115 V single phase, dropping to 23.28 lbf.in (2.63 N.m) at both 400 V and 480 V three phase. The holding brake provides 26.6 lbf.in (3 N.m) of holding torque, keeping the load stationary when power is removed.
Encoder, feedback, and protection for integration
An absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface encoder provides position feedback — no homing sequence needed after power loss, which simplifies commissioning on multi-axis lines. The motor carries an IP65 rating when fitted with the shaft seal ring, per IEC 60034-5, making it suitable for washdown environments. Without the seal ring, the shaft bushing is rated IP54. Mounting uses an international standard flange with a 70 mm flange size and a 60 mm centring collar. The shaft is 14 mm diameter with a parallel key, 30 mm shaft length.
Torque, inertia, and mechanical limits
Peak stall torque reaches 100.01 lbf.in (11.3 N.m) across the 115...480 V three-phase range, useful for short-duration acceleration. Continuous stall torque is 26.02 lbf.in (2.94 N.m) at the same voltage range. Maximum radial force at the shaft is 730 N at 1000 rpm, derating to 400 N at 6000 rpm. Maximum axial force is 80 N.
Active production — sourcing and compliance
The motor is cooled by natural convection — no external fan or coolant lines needed. Electrical connection options include a straight connector or a rotatable right-angled connector, giving flexibility in cable routing within the cabinet.
