Speed-torque envelope by supply voltage
The SH31001M01A2200 delivers 625 rpm on 115 V single-phase supply, 1250 rpm on 230 V single-phase, 2500 rpm on 400 V three-phase, and 3000 rpm on 480 V three-phase — the speed ceiling shifts with the available line voltage, so the drive's DC bus voltage sets the actual top speed in the application. Nominal torque tracks inversely with speed: 2.8 N.m at 115 V single-phase, 2.71 N.m at 230 V single-phase, and 2.52 N.m at both 400 V and 480 V three-phase. The torque drop between single-phase and three-phase supply is about 10 %, which matters when sizing for a constant-torque load like a conveyor running on a single-phase installation. Peak stall torque is 9.6 N.m across the 115...480 V three-phase range — this is the short-duration overload capability for acceleration or overcoming static friction, not the continuous rating.
Encoder feedback and environmental sealing
The absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface encoder provides position feedback without requiring a homing sequence on power-up — the drive reads the absolute position within one revolution at startup. This eliminates the time and mechanical wear of a reference run on each power cycle. IP65 on the motor body and shaft bushing, IP67 on the housing per IEC 60034-5 — the motor withstands washdown and airborne dust ingress. The IP67 housing rating means the connector area is sealed against temporary immersion, suitable for food-and-bev or washdown zones where the motor sees direct spray. No holding brake is fitted — the motor relies on the drive's DC injection braking or an external mechanical brake for holding torque at zero speed. The continuous stall torque of 2.94 N.m is the electromagnetic holding torque available without a brake, but it requires the drive to remain powered.
Mechanical interface and mounting
International standard flange, 100 mm flange size, centring collar 95 mm diameter with 3.5 mm depth — mounts to standard ISO 100 mm motor flanges. Four 9.0 mm mounting holes on the flange pattern. Smooth shaft, 19 mm diameter, 40 mm shaft length, 6 mm keyway width — the smooth shaft accepts a keyed coupling or a clamping hub; the keyway is cut but no key is supplied. Maximum radial force is 900 N at 1000 rpm, derating to 530 N at 5000 rpm — this sets the allowable belt tension or coupling misalignment load. Electrical connection via a rotatable right-angled connector — the connector body can be oriented to route the cable away from the load or into a cable tray. Straight connector also listed for axial cable exit.
Electrical parameters and thermal limits
Stator resistance 13.9 Ω, stator inductance 99.15 mH — these are the winding parameters the drive's autotune routine uses to set current-loop gains. The torque constant is 1.63 N.m/A at 120 °C copper temperature; the back EMF constant is 115 V/krpm at 20 °C. Natural convection cooling — no external fan; the motor relies on surface area and the machine's own airflow. The copper hot-spot temperature is 130 °C; the continuous power rating of 660 W assumes this temperature rise at the nominal speed-torque point.
