Speed and torque across supply voltages
The SH31001M02A1000 delivers 3000 rpm nominal at 400 V three-phase supply, and reaches 2500 rpm at 480 V three-phase. On single-phase 230 V it runs 1250 rpm; on 115 V single-phase it drops to 625 rpm. Nominal torque holds near 2.52 Nm across three-phase supplies, with a slight increase to 2.8 Nm on 115 V single-phase. Continuous stall torque is 2.94 Nm across the 115–480 V three-phase range, with a peak stall torque of 9.6 Nm. The torque constant is 1.63 Nm/A at 120 °C copper temperature.
Feedback and sealing for integration
An absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface encoder provides position feedback — no homing cycle needed after power loss, which simplifies commissioning on multi-axis lines. The straight connector exits the motor body directly. IP54 rating at the shaft bushing without the seal ring; IP65 with the shaft seal ring fitted per IEC 60034-5. For washdown or wet environments, specify the seal ring option. The motor flange is 100 mm (3.9 in) with a 95 mm centring collar.
Mechanical limits and mounting
Maximum mechanical speed is 6000 rpm, but the nominal speed at rated voltage is 3000 rpm — overspeed operation requires torque derating. Maximum radial force Fr is 900 N at 1000 rpm, dropping to 530 N at 5000 rpm. Maximum axial force Fa is 160 N.
No holding brake fitted on this variant. If brake is required, specify the SH31001M02A1000 suffix variant or a separate holding brake unit. The sizing reference is SH31001M.
