Speed and torque across supply voltages
The SH31001M02A1100 delivers different speed and torque depending on what supply you feed it. At 400 V three-phase, nominal speed is 2500 rpm with 2.52 Nm torque; at 480 V three-phase it reaches 3000 rpm at the same torque. On single-phase 115 V it drops to 625 rpm and 2.8 Nm, and at 230 V single-phase it runs 1250 rpm at 2.71 Nm. Continuous stall torque is 2.94 Nm across the 115–480 V three-phase range, with a peak stall torque of 9.6 Nm for short-duration moves. Continuous output power varies from 210 W on 115 V single-phase up to 930 W at 480 V three-phase.
Encoder feedback and integration
This motor carries an absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface encoder — that's the feedback protocol you need to match with your drive. It gives position and speed data without needing a homing cycle on power-up, which saves a step during commissioning. The straight connector on the motor side mates with a standard Hiperface cable set. The 100 mm IEC flange and 19 mm smooth shaft with a 6 mm keyway are standard for this frame size. Centring collar is 95 mm diameter, 3.5 mm deep. Four 9 mm mounting holes — the bolt pattern matches the common SH3 footprint.
Environmental sealing and cooling
Rated IP65 per IEC 60034-5 on both the motor body and the shaft bushing — that means it's sealed against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction. Suitable for washdown areas in food processing or outdoor installations where the motor isn't submerged. Cooling is by natural convection, so no fan or external blower needed.
