Speed-torque map across supply voltages
The SH31001M02A2100: This SH3 servo delivers 2500 rpm at 400 V three-phase and 3000 rpm at 480 V three-phase, with nominal torque holding at 2.52 N·m across both three-phase voltages. On single-phase supply, speed drops to 625 rpm at 115 V and 1250 rpm at 230 V, with torque ranging from 2.8 N·m down to 2.71 N·m respectively. Peak stall torque reaches 9.6 N·m across the 115–480 V three-phase range, while continuous stall torque is 2.94 N·m at 1.8 A. The torque constant is 1.63 N·m/A at 120 °C copper temperature.
Encoder feedback and mechanical interface
The absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface encoder provides position feedback without needing a home cycle on power-up — the rotor position is known immediately. This matters for applications where the machine must resume operation after a power loss without re-referencing. The motor uses a 19 mm smooth shaft with a 40 mm shaft length and 6 mm keyway. The flange is the international standard 100 mm size with a 95 mm centring collar and 3.5 mm centring depth. Four 9 mm mounting holes secure it to the machine frame. Maximum radial force at the shaft is 900 N at 1000 rpm, derating to 530 N at 5000 rpm. Maximum axial force is 160 N. The maximum mechanical speed is 6000 rpm, well above the nominal operating range.
Sealing, cooling, and electrical connection
Cooling is by natural convection — no external fan or forced air required. The electrical connection uses a rotatable right-angled connector, giving flexibility in cable routing within tight machine envelopes.
