660 W, 3000 rpm — SH3 servo motor with holding brake
The SH31001M11F1100 is a Schneider Electric SH3 series servo motor with an integrated holding brake, rated for 660 W continuous power. It delivers a nominal speed of 3000 rpm when fed from a 480 V three-phase supply, with the speed scaling down to 625 rpm at 115 V single-phase input. The holding brake provides 9 N.m of holding torque — this is the figure that matters for vertical-axis loads where the motor must hold position when power is removed. The continuous stall torque is 2.94 N.m across the 115–480 V three-phase range, with nominal torque derating from 2.8 N.m at 115 V to 2.52 N.m at 480 V.
Absolute feedback and IP65 sealing
The motor carries an absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface encoder — no homing cycle needed on power-up; the position is known immediately. This encoder type is common on Schneider Lexium drive families, so the feedback interface is a standard match for the corresponding drive. IP65 protection per IEC 60034-5 applies to both the motor body and the shaft bushing, meaning the motor withstands washdown and wet environments without additional shrouding. The 100 mm international standard flange (3.9 in) with a 95 mm centring collar and 9 mm mounting holes fits standard motor mounts.
