Motor ratings across supply voltages
The SH31003M01F2000 delivers different speed and torque depending on the supply. At 400 V three-phase, nominal speed is 2000 rpm with 7 N.m nominal torque and 1470 W output power. On 480 V three-phase, speed reaches 2400 rpm with 6.76 N.m torque and 1700 W output. For single-phase 230 V, nominal speed drops to 1000 rpm at 7.5 N.m and 790 W; at 115 V single-phase, it runs 500 rpm at 7.8 N.m and 410 W. Peak stall torque is 28.3 N.m across the 115–480 V three-phase range, and continuous stall torque holds at 8 N.m — the motor can deliver short bursts of high torque for acceleration without overheating.
Holding brake and encoder — what they mean for fit
The integrated holding brake delivers 9 N.m holding torque — essential for vertical-axis applications where the load must stay put when power is removed. The brake is factory-fitted, so no field assembly is needed. The absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface encoder provides position feedback without a home cycle on power-up — the drive knows the rotor position immediately. This encoder type is common on Schneider Lexium drives; confirm the drive model supports Hiperface protocol before pairing.
Physical integration and environmental sealing
The motor uses a 100 mm international standard flange (3.9 in) with a 19 mm smooth shaft and 6 mm keyway — fits standard mounting patterns for this frame size. Overall length is 271.5 mm (10.7 in), which includes the connector and brake housing. IP rating depends on the shaft seal configuration: IP54 with shaft bushing and no shaft seal ring, or IP65 with the shaft bushing seal installed. The motor body itself is IP65-rated per IEC 60034-5. For washdown environments, specify the shaft seal option. The rotatable right-angled connector allows the cable exit to be oriented in 90° increments — useful when routing cables in tight control cabinets or along machine frames.
Electrical parameters for drive tuning
Stator resistance is 5.3 Ω and inductance is 17.4 mH — these values go into the drive's auto-tuning routine for current-loop gains. The torque constant is 2.35 N.m/A at 120 °C copper temperature, and the back EMF constant is 148 V/krpm at 20 °C — both needed for velocity-loop calibration. Maximum continuous current is 14.7 A RMS, with a 3-second peak of the same value — the drive's continuous current rating should match or exceed this to avoid current-limiting during sustained operation.
