Speed-torque envelope across supply voltages
The SH31004P12F1100: This motor delivers 3000 rpm nominal speed on 400 V three-phase supply, with a nominal torque of 7.9 Nm and nominal output power of 2480 W. On 480 V three-phase it reaches 3600 rpm / 6.9 Nm / 2600 W. The continuous stall torque is 10 Nm across the 115–480 V three-phase range, and peak stall torque hits 40.5 Nm — useful for short-duration acceleration or overcoming static friction. The torque constant is 1.62 Nm/A at 120 °C copper temperature, giving a direct relationship between drive current and delivered torque for tuning the current loop.
Integrated holding brake and absolute encoder
The holding brake delivers 12 Nm of holding torque — enough to keep a vertical load at rest without external brake resistors or mechanical locks. The absolute multiturn SinCos Hiperface encoder retains position through power cycles, so a machine restart after a power loss or emergency stop does not require a homing sequence. That saves cycle time on packaging or material-handling lines where every restart counts.
IP65 protection and mechanical fit
Both the motor body and the shaft bushing are rated IP65 per IEC 60034-5 — the motor withstands washdown in food, beverage, or wet machining environments. The flange size is 100 mm with a 24 mm shaft diameter and 8 mm keyway, and the overall length is 307.5 mm. Centring collar depth is 3.5 mm. Confirm the mechanical envelope and coupling dimensions before committing to the BOM.
