Motor ratings and supply-voltage dependency
Rated for three-phase operation, the SH32052P01A2200 delivers nominal torque and speed that shift with the supply voltage: at 400 V three-phase, nominal torque is 38.1 N.m at 2000 rpm; at 480 V three-phase, it is 28.4 N.m at 2400 rpm. Continuous power is 7900 W, with a continuous stall torque of 64.9 N.m across the 115–480 V three-phase range and a peak stall torque of 220 N.m for short-duration overloads. The torque constant is 2.52 N.m/A at 120 °C copper temperature, and the maximum RMS current is 96.8 A — the drive must be sized to supply this current for the peak torque demand.
Encoder and feedback — absolute single-turn Hiperface
Fitted with an absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface encoder, the motor provides position feedback at power-up without a homing cycle — critical for applications like rotary indexing or tool changers where the axis must know its position immediately. The back-EMF constant is 161 V/krpm at 20 °C, and stator inductance is 2.95 mH with a stator resistance of 0.3 Ohm — these values define the electrical time constant and the drive tuning parameters.
Mechanical interface and environmental sealing
The motor uses an international standard flange with a 205 mm flange size, 180 mm centring collar diameter, and 14 mm mounting holes — fits standard IEC B5 mounting patterns. Shaft is smooth, 38 mm diameter by 80 mm long, with a 4 mm centring collar depth. Maximum radial force is 4200 N at 1000 rpm, derating to 2910 N at 3000 rpm; maximum axial force is 740 N. Sealing is IP65 on the motor body and shaft bushing, IP67 on the housing — suitable for washdown environments. Cooling is natural convection; no external fan or liquid cooling required.
