Speed-torque map by supply voltage
The SH32052P01F1000: This motor delivers different nominal speeds depending on the supply: 500 rpm at 115 V single phase, 1000 rpm at 230 V single phase, 2000 rpm at 400 V three phase, and 2400 rpm at 480 V three phase. The torque available also shifts — 61.6 Nm at 115 V single phase drops to 28.4 Nm at 480 V three phase. For a 400 V three-phase line, expect 38.1 Nm nominal at 2000 rpm. Peak stall torque reaches 220 Nm across the 115–480 V three-phase range, so the motor can handle short-duration overloads well above the nominal rating. Continuous stall torque is 64.9 Nm under the same supply conditions.
Encoder and feedback — absolute single-turn Hiperface
Fitted with an absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface encoder — no need for a homing sequence on power-up; the position is known immediately. The rotatable right-angle connector and straight connector options give flexibility in cable routing inside the cabinet.
IP rating and cooling — natural convection
IP54 at the shaft bushing without the shaft seal ring, IP65 for the motor body and with the shaft bushing seal ring fitted — both per IEC 60034-5. No forced cooling; natural convection only, so the mounting surface and ambient airflow matter for thermal management. Copper hot-spot temperature limit is 130 °C. Smooth shaft, 38 mm diameter, 80 mm shaft length. International standard flange with 205 mm flange size, 180 mm centring collar diameter, 4 mm centring collar depth. Maximum radial force 4200 N at 1000 rpm, derating to 2910 N at 3000 rpm.
Electrical parameters for drive tuning
Stator resistance 0.3 Ω, stator inductance 2.95 mH — these set the electrical time constant and influence the current regulator tuning in the servo drive. Maximum continuous current is 96.8 A RMS; output current 3 s peak is also 96.8 A. Torque constant is 2.52 Nm/A at 120 °C copper temperature. Back EMF constant is 161 V/krpm at 20 °C — use this to calculate the voltage required at a given speed. The motor has 5 poles.
