Speed-torque envelope across supply voltages
The SH32052P11A2200: This 5-pole servo motor delivers a nominal torque of 61.6 N·m at 500 rpm on 115 V single-phase supply, 56 N·m at 1000 rpm on 230 V single-phase, 38.1 N·m at 2000 rpm on 400 V three-phase, and 28.4 N·m at 2400 rpm on 480 V three-phase. The peak stall torque reaches 220 N·m across the 115–480 V three-phase range, with a 3-second peak output current of 96.8 A. Continuous power is 7900 W, with nominal output power varying from 3230 W on 115 V single-phase up to 7980 W on 400 V three-phase. The torque constant is 2.52 N·m/A at 120 °C copper temperature, and the back EMF constant is 161 V/krpm at 20 °C.
Encoder feedback and environmental sealing
The motor carries an absolute single-turn SinCos Hiperface encoder, providing position feedback without needing a battery-backed multi-turn count. Electrical connection is via a rotatable right-angled connector, giving flexibility in cable routing within tight cabinets. IP65 protection on the motor body and shaft bushing, plus IP67 on the housing, means this unit handles washdown environments and airborne particulates without additional enclosure sealing. Cooling is by natural convection — no external fan or coolant circuit needed.
Mechanical interface and load ratings
The shaft is 1.5 in (38 mm) diameter with a parallel key, 3.1 in (80 mm) length, and 0.4 in (10 mm) key width. Mounting uses an international standard flange with an 8.07 in (205 mm) flange size, 7.09 in (180 mm) centring collar, and 0.2 in (4 mm) centring collar depth.
